It is built from two Antares uprights with footplaces in plastic or zinc-coated iron, and a variable number of cross-beans according to the upright height.

Standard heights are 1000, 1500, 2000, 2250, 2500, 2750 mm, and from 3000 to 5500 mm in 500 mm increments. Standard depths are 300, 350, 400, 500, 600.

In detail, the individual components are as follows:

UPRIGHT: it has a rectangular, 30x45mm closed-section shape, seamed and stiffened to achieve a considerable resistance to torsion as well as flexion and compression loads.

CROSS-BEAM: interlocking with the two side uprights, it is built out of a U profile with hooks at the ends.

PLASTIC FOOTPLACE: suitable for the most common use cases of “light” shelving, it is supplied by default as a thermoprinted footplace to be inserted at the lower end of the upright.

STEEL FOOTPLACE: made out of zinc-coated steel sheet with a thickness of 3.0mm complete with HILTI HSA captive bolt, to be used whenever a secure fastening to the floor is desirable.

ANTARES HOOK: Thanks to the shape of the locking flanges that mate with the uprights, this hook stays in place when removing the shelf (there is no accidental dropping of the hooks), making it easier to assemble the structure and to reconfigure it according to changing needs.

It is obtained by press forming a single, polished DC01 steel sheet with 0.5 mm thickness for shelves with depths 300, 350 and 400 mm, and 0.6 mm thickness for shelves 500, 600, 700 and 800 mm deep.

It is of fundamental importance for the longitudinal stability of the shelving.
The bracing is built of steel wires, each with its own tension screw to adjust the pull, secured to the uprights by suitable steel plates.

It is an important device affecting structure stability.
It is made of two flanged plates built of zinc-coated steel plate 1.5 mm thick.
